What does it mean to be FREE? What does it feel li

What does it mean to be FREE?
What does it feel like to place a blank sheet of paper before you and design your own life path?
What have you been called to BE, to do, to create?
And do you take time to give the love that you so generously give to everyone else to YOU once in a while?

After a period of healing, which I likely will continue to experience for a long time to come, learning about betrayal trauma and how it can impact every element of your life, which it has for me, has also brought deep clarity;

Life is precious.
Every moment is a gift to be wasted or greeted with joy and grace.
Being a victim to anything or anyone is a waste of precious mental energy and gives power to others.
Sometimes the beautiful views are only rewarded because of the storms and steep climbs to get there.
YOU are and will always be the greatest love of your own life; Treat her with love and kindness, because she’s the one who will always see you through.

I look forward to this fall, when I will have the opportunity to explore more of my beloved region of Tuscany, lead another retreat with a special group of women, do some writing and research on a cliff overlooking the breathtaking Amalfi Coast, and allow myself time and space to continue healing and planning for the future and all of the amazing programs we have to serve you through Retreat to Tuscany.

My heart is breaking for others around the world who are suffering in ways unimaginable to me, my friends and clients deeply affected by the destruction in Hawaii, and others much less privileged. Perspective is the word that lands for me when I think about my daily challenges.

The food in Italy is just one of the many highlights of Retreat Week.
We cook together, we dine together, we laugh and we feel joyous.

Cooking in the kitchen with our beloved Chef Nora, dining out with our energetic and fun Yoga & Meditation Leader, Anna Lisa, and trying new restaurants with our talented and beautiful Tour Guide Antonella are all icing on the cake.

YES! The food is organic, homemade, free of all the fillers and processed foods that we have become so accustomed to here in the states. The food is delicious and presented so beautifully. It isn’t any wonder that it makes us happy and brings us JOY!
